BRAIN STORM

OCTOBER 15, 2009 - JANUARY 03, 2010

Jennifer Wen Ma

The Phillips Collection

Continuing our creative partnership with Jennifer Wen Ma and Shigeko Bork mu projects, Transformer launched our first museum exhibition collaboration October 15, 2009 with the successful opening night of Jennifer Wen Ma’s Brain Storm installations at The Phillips Collection.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Part of The Phillips Collection’s innovative “Intersections” series, presenting contemporary works of art in dialogue with master works from The Phillips permanent collection, Brain Storm included a video installation in one of The Phillips formal galleries and a site-specific installation of video still prints in the corridor connecting the original house and modern wing of The Phillips.

Transformer was thrilled to share this beautiful, hypnotizing, video installation with Washington, DC audiences. Many thanks to Vesela Sretenovic and The Phillips Collection for championing this collaboration and presenting this exceptional work.
